How to Upcycle a Chandelier

This is my latest creation!

The focal point of this ring is an upcycled crystal from a chandelier.  The chandelier was damaged and could not be fixed, so I bought the pieces to use in jewelry.

You've no doubt seen my earrings

Necklace

and bracelet

all made from the crystals from the chandelier.

This ring is the latest in the line.  They coordinate to make a nice set, or you can wear them separately.
All the pieces are now available in my Etsy Shop or at my booth at BUiLDiNG CHARACTER. (Rings will be available at BUiLDiNG CHARACTER tomorrow)

Sadly, though, I am coming to the end of my chandelier crystal supply, so there won't be many more of any of these pieces.

New this Week

Yesterday, I spent a lot of time listing new items in my Etsy Shop. Here are a lot of the new products that I listed (although there are a few others.)

Above: Alice in Wonderland Upcycled Scrabble Tile Bracelet
It's make with upcycled - recycled scrabble tiles that have been attached to a bracelet after being covered with images from Alice in Wonderland.

This is a fun new design that I really love. Pink Bouquet Wire Wrapped Ring was made with pretty pink flower beads and a green leaf.

and my new Key Pendants, which all can be find in the necklaces section of my Etsy Shop.

I don't have any shows this weekend, but you can find B.B. Bellezza in a store near you! :)

Recycled Jewelry

Help keep stuff out of the landfill! Buy B.B. Bellezza recycled jewelry.
A few examples:
Scrabble tile pendants made with salvaged scrabble tiles and pages from vintage dictionaries.

Necklaces made with salvaged keyhole covers and watch parts.

Rings made with salvaged typewriter keys. The typewriter was rescued from the dumpster and cleaned up.

I just made a flyer/poster that is like this. (The formatting is different, the content is the same.) What do you think?

From Trash to Treasure

You may remember this typewriter from my previous post. My friend Tony from BUiLDiNG CHARACTER found it and gave it to me.

With a little soap, water and a lot of effort, the keys cleaned up nicely and made lovely rings. These two are listed in my Etsy Shop now. A large selection is available at my booth at BUiLDiNG CHARACTER as well.

Altered Scrabble Tile Ring

My newest creation are Altered Scrabble Tile Rings. They are much like my Scrabble Tile Pendants, but in ring form!

Also I have plain letter Scrabble Tile Rings in my Etsy Shop- you can pick your letter!

See my "Ring" section for Altered Scrabble Tile Rings, Plain Scrabble Tile Rings and Anique Adding Machine Button Rings.

Antique Adding Machine Ring

I am crazy about this new design! It's simple, but quirky, unique and fun.

The ring is made with a button off an antique adding machine. How I received the adding machine has a story all it's own, too!

That's the beauty the button came off! The adding machine would have been thrown away, but my friends at Building Character (342 N. Queen St, Rear in Lancaster, PA) saved it for me. It was found in the old Lancaster Storage Company (the new home of artMarket at BUiLDiNG CHARACTER), a very historical location.

Truth is, I saw this adding machine weeks before and had hoped to get my hands on it! I actually wrote about the adding machine on a previous post when I first got it.
The ring is available in my shop. As you can see, many of the numbers have rubbed off with use.
