New this Week

Yesterday, I spent a lot of time listing new items in my Etsy Shop. Here are a lot of the new products that I listed (although there are a few others.)

Above: Alice in Wonderland Upcycled Scrabble Tile Bracelet
It's make with upcycled - recycled scrabble tiles that have been attached to a bracelet after being covered with images from Alice in Wonderland.

This is a fun new design that I really love. Pink Bouquet Wire Wrapped Ring was made with pretty pink flower beads and a green leaf.

and my new Key Pendants, which all can be find in the necklaces section of my Etsy Shop.

I don't have any shows this weekend, but you can find B.B. Bellezza in a store near you! :)

Review and Preview

In case you missed it, I was in this treasury: Hardwear (It's over now, so all we have is this screen shot and the memories......)

This weekend I do not have any shows. I am sort of taking it a little easier now that I have a permanent booth at BUiLDiNG CHARACTER.

Next weekend, May 30, 2009, is Opening Day at Eastern Market!

308 East King Street, Lancaster, PA 9 am - 2 pm

(This is a photo from one of my set ups at Eastern Market last year...it in no way shows you how cool Eastern Market is!)

I have a few shows coming up after that, you can keep up with me on my Events Page on the B.B. Bellezza website.

Also, I would like to invite everyone to my Open House at Building Character on July 11, 2009 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. I will be sharing more details soon, but for now, save the date and time!

I have made A LOT of Scrabble Tile Pendants this week, so I will be restocking my booth at BUiLDiNG CHARACTER this weekend, as well as restocking my Etsy Store! Sorry the Mix and Match Pendants have been missing from Etsy, they are returning!!

Finally, I want to make sure you all know about my joint venture with my boyfriend Jim, Outta the Way! It's our travel blog and zine! The first volume of the zine (Central Lancaster County, Pennsylvania) is available now in my Etsy shop or in person at my booth at BUiLDiNG CHARACTER at 342 N. Queen Street, Rear, Lancaster, PA, or by contacting us.

A Great Day....also Scrabble Games

games, originally uploaded by B.B. Bellezza.

Saturday was our neighborhood yard sale, which I love. I just walk out the door and start shopping! Plus, we can easily get home to regroup. However, all morning I was looking for a Scrabble game and couldn't find one.

In the afternoon I stopped by my booth at Building Character to pick up a few things for the craft show I was (it was cancelled due to rain) doing on Sunday.

My booth neighbor, said, "good, you're here" and disappeared. When he returned, he brought me these games!! YAY! I felt like it was Christmas! (You did notice the Scrabble, right?!!) I love the community feeling at BUiLDiNG CHARACTER. Also, thank you to Kate (Shiny Tings) for thinking of me while helping a friend!!

Peter has antiques at Building Character, and he is right beside me. Make sure you check his booth, Mt. Pleasant Antiques, out! Kate metalcrafts....she has the most amazing mobiles and decor! Her new lamps are amazing!

This reminds me, if you have any Scrabble games that you no longer want, I will take them off your hands! I will make you a pendant, ring or earrings in return. (Or contact me for other options.)

I am also extremely interested in dominoes, Rumikub games, old keys, hardware such as washers and nuts, and interesting old magazines, dictionaries, patterns, hmmmm.... a lot of things. If you are getting rid of something like any of this, contact me before you throw it away!

Mix and Match Scrabble Tile Pendants

Last night I started to list the many new Scrabble Tile Pendants that I have recently made in my Etsy Shop. Usually I have listed my Scrabble Tile Pendants with a cord or chain so they were all ready to go. I got to thinking, though, it may be nice for my customers if I listed them without a necklace and then customers could buy more than one pendant, but only have to purchase one chain. You can use the same chain for all your pendants! The pendants are only $7 each (they are $10 with the chain.)

I will also have customized pendants available at craft shows in person. The buyer would get to choose the pendant, the chain or cord and the length, and then a cute container to keep the pendant in.

I have A LOT more pendants to list. Some will be listed tonight and the bulk of them will probably be listed this weekend, either Saturday morning or sometime Sunday evening.

Also, I plan to offer more choices in necklaces as well. Right now there is a ball chain listed, but more options will be listed soon!

I would love your feedback on whether you think that I should just list the pendants with a cord/chain or you like this new feedback. (You can tell me on twitter - I'm @BBBellezza - or leave a comment here)

Thanks for your help!!

250th post! New Items and Custom Orders

How about some cake in celebration of my 250th post! It seems kind of impossible that I have written that many posts, yet, it is true. Yay!

Today I have spent the day photographing, editing, listing, going to appointments that I was dreading (but were fine), relisting and preparing listings. You can see the efforts of my work in my Etsy Shop and eBay store. There are tons of Game Tile Pendants in both! (While I feel relieved to have all these posted, I still have other categories of jewelry to list!)

There are also more used books listed in my shop and some of my pendants are on auction, which is always fun. Also this cool necklace is up for grabs on eBay as well.

This necklace is made from a rescued broken belt and vintage brass chain. It is adjustable so you could wear it as a choker or as a princess length necklace.

Custom Order Game Tile Pendants
I have had a couple requests for custom game tile pendants lately, which is wonderful.

If you would like to order a custom domino tile or scrabble tile pendant, just let me know. If you would like one in time for Christmas, now is probably the time to ask me as things get pretty wild around the holidays. Plus, I source the paper for my pendants from all different sources, and nowhere that I can just call up and order. I dig through vintage books and any other paper that I can find. For example if you would like a particular sport or activity themed pendant, I can dig through my paper stash to see what I have or keep my eyes open for such an image. It could take me a little while to come up with the actual pendant.

If you have an image that you would like afixed to a scrabble or domino pendant, contact me and I will tell you where to mail it. I can't accept images digitally at the moment because I don't have a decent printer nor do I know how to size images to get them to fit. If you can do that and give me the physical image, awesome. If not, I can't do it right now, but I will be looking into it in the future.

Any questions, just email me at BBBellezza@hotmail.com
