Don't throw out that broken umbrella!
This tip is probably a little more for those on the crafty-side, but even if you think you are not, check it out. It may be easier than you think. I saw this and had to share.
Recycle dead umbrellas into great bags of all kinds. I have often ruined a umbrella to the point of no return, and wondered what to do with it. Make it into a bag!
Or, you can fix your umbrella!

What a wonderful idea! And what parent doesn't need an extra water proof bag for those surprise wet and/or dirt clothes.
